Kodak wins Patent battle with Apple

The US International Trade Commission on Monday declined to review the decision of the single judge in Apple’s patent infringement case against Kodak thereby putting an end to the long standing patent battle between the two.
Apple had filed its patent infringement claim against Kodak last year, alleging that Kodak violated their patents titled "system and method for using a unified memory architecture to implement a digital camera device" and "modular digital image processing via an image processing chain with modifiable parameter controls" in their digital camera products. The single judge hearing the case at the first instance ruled in favour of Kodak. The Commission, by refusing to review the decision of the single judge, has reaffirmed the said decision in favour of Kodak.
