Siemens Sues two Companies over Patent Infringement

Siemens has filed a suit against Samsung and LG in Germany and the United States, alleging infringement of its LED lighting technology. This step has come 3 months prior to Siemens sale of a majority stake in Osram, the unit that owns the impugned patent. The Company apart from filing a complaint before International Trade Commission has filed cases before the Courts in Germany and US and plans to file in two more countries.
