Walker digital, the American based research and development laboratory has filed patent infringement law suits against Apple, Sony, Facebook, Groupon, Microsoft, Google, Amazon and few other companies. The lawsuit was filed on 12th April, 2011 before the U.S. District Court of Delaware. This lawsuit alleges that the companies were infringing on Walker Digital patents that cover e-commerce, private social-networking communications, online auctions, and driving directions with visual cues. The research company said that more than 100 companies are infringing their patents.
